Balinda Valley
This resort lies 120 kilometers to the northeast of Duhok Governorate and 50 kilometers from Amediya, and it is frequently visited by tourists. It is a rugged mountainous strait with uneasy roads crossing Mateen Mountain from one side and Shereen Mountain from the other side.
They are newly formed folded mountains covered with dense plants which are mostly in the form of natural forests and bushes, and these roads overlook a deep valley where Roy Sheen River goes through. The area is known by walnut, almond and other types of mountainous fruit.
