Izides,
Muslims, and Christians are living in this important part with harmony. The
people demand that attention be paid to the city‘s cultural, commercial, and
industrial aspects in addition to its geographical borders that serve as a
dividing line amongst some neighboring states. So a part from the issue of the
carefulness of the governorate of Duhok was the establishment of the Technical
Institute in 2013 to enrich the area with further awareness in education and
science.
Accounting
It is one of the important scientific departments in the society because it is a basic factor in the calculations and also in the marketing process that takes place among the citizens from the sale and purchase of various commodities as well as in the state institutions and the private sector benefiting from the graduates of this department as a major element in the community. The Department of Education in 2016 has graduated one batch of students and the number of students graduates of this section about (17) students.
Mission:
1- Preparing specialized cadres to work in the field of accounting sciences in order to work in government companies or in the private sector.
2- Increase in the provision of special courses or study programs for students in order to serve the society properly.
3- Qualification of the graduate of this section to work as a cost accountant and administrative accountant in one of the institutions of the state, which depends on the management of financial sound and strong in the management.
Vision:
The accounting department aspires to be an important part of the field of education and scientific research to contribute to the service of society by meeting the needs of a labor market with considerable experience in accounting operations, including sales and purchase.
Objectives:
1- To raise the level of teaching performance in line with the requirements of the department in the future by increasing the distinguished scientific competencies and expanding the appointment of outstanding graduates scientifically and practically as technical trainers and encouraging them to complete their graduate studies in distinguished universities abroad.
2- Preparation of qualified personnel adequately and adequately to take responsibility for the burdens of the profession as accountants or auditors in the government sector or the private sector based on the needs of the community.
3- Revitalize the role of the Institute in serving the community through the organization of important scientific courses as well as focus on continuing education courses and the coordination of work between the Institute and other government institutions.
4- Improve the student’s ability to adapt in the areas of calculation and marketing new in the present day of work as well as in the future as well.
Nursing
It is one of the most important medical departments in the community because it is a major factor in addressing many of the health problems facing the society. This section was opened in 2013, where three graduates graduated from this department. The number of graduates is (174) students.
Mission:
1- The nursing department at Shankal Technical Institute is looking forward to having a positive and positive impact in the field of health services in the province of Kurdistan through excellent educational programs. These programs are prepared and ready to face ever-changing health services in the community according to international and local academic standards.
2- Establishing the best laboratories to teach students by providing the best equipment.
3- follow-up of the scientific fields of scientific progress and the development of curricula and study plans and provide specialized cadres scientific and health research.
Vision:
1- Develop, provide and provide technical and vocational training programs to provide advanced health services in the fields of health and high quality to meet the needs of the community.
2- The Nursing Department is dedicated to providing students with information, skills and values to qualify them to provide high-quality nursing services from the various health care facilities available in the region and the region in general, which contribute to the preparation of nursing staff in cooperation with local and international bodies and organizations.
Objectives:
1- Preparing technical and scientific staff to keep abreast of the developments in the various scientific specialties. The delegation of the governmental and private sectors needs their intermediate technical staff.
2- Preparation of nursing staff qualified scientifically and practically in the field of nursing care according to international academic standards.
3- Keeping abreast of the latest scientific and technical developments in the world in nursing.
4- Training in the work of the health team and using the ethics of the high profession in all nursing practices.
